Terms of service
These terms govern use of LANgrafix MEDIController, also called the LANgrafix FIERY Support Engine, and the LANgrafix FIERY Corpus Worker. LANgrafix operates this independent technical-support service. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Purpose and access
MEDIController assists with FIERY controller and server troubleshooting using authorized documentation, cited evidence, and AI-generated responses. Access is limited to users authorized by LANgrafix. A public information page does not grant access to the private application or its corpus. You must be at least 18 and authorized to work on the equipment and use the information you submit.
Technical judgment and AI limitations
Answers can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Citations help you check evidence but do not guarantee a correct diagnosis or compatibility with your exact hardware, OEM configuration, patch level, or software revision. Confirm applicability before acting and use qualified technical judgment.
Before applying patches, uninstalling updates, changing firmware, modifying operating systems, or performing recovery, confirm the procedure with an appropriate authorized source, obtain the equipment owner’s approval, and prepare suitable backups and a recovery plan. Stop and seek qualified assistance when the evidence is uncertain or an action could cause data loss, downtime, injury, or licensing problems. MEDIController does not independently authorize restricted tools, license changes, or destructive procedures.
Your submissions and field discoveries
Submit only information you have permission to share and process. Avoid credentials, license keys, unnecessary personal data, and confidential customer content without authorization. You retain your rights in your submissions and grant LANgrafix permission to process, store, and review them as needed to provide the requested support.
If you deliberately submit a field discovery for inclusion in MEDIController’s knowledge base, you also permit LANgrafix to incorporate an appropriately scoped resolution and make it available to authorized users, subject to the privacy policy and applicable rights. Indicate confidentiality restrictions and remove identifying customer details first. A submission may be rejected, corrected, or left unconfirmed; it does not automatically override documentation. Reporting a suspected bug in MEDIController does not automatically send a report to Fiery LLC or an OEM.
Documentation and acceptable use
Manuals, software, trademarks, and other third-party material remain the property of their respective owners. Access does not grant a right to redistribute full manuals, restricted software, patches, installers, or license files. Use excerpts and citations only within your authorization. Do not bypass access controls, share another person’s account, scrape the private corpus, disrupt the service, or use it for unlawful purposes.
Privacy and Google authorization
The privacy policy explains Drive permissions, document processing, AI-provider processing, and deletion requests. Only an authorized account owner may connect Google Drive. You may revoke Google access in your account settings; previously processed copies require separate deletion handling.
Beta access and charges
The service is under development. Features, document coverage, availability, and usage limits may change. If LANgrafix grants you free beta access, no fee applies to that beta access. Any future paid service requires advance disclosure and your agreement; participation does not automatically enroll you in a paid plan. Hardware purchases and separately contracted support are governed by their own terms.
Availability and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted operation, complete coverage, or a particular troubleshooting outcome. You remain responsible for decisions and actions taken on equipment. These terms do not exclude liability or rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
Suspension, changes, and contact
LANgrafix may restrict access to protect private information, address misuse, perform maintenance, or discontinue the service. Material changes to these terms will be communicated through the service or another appropriate channel before they apply where required. You may stop using the service at any time and request data handling described in the privacy policy.
LANgrafix is independent and is not Fiery LLC or an OEM. References to FIERY and OEM products identify the systems supported and do not imply endorsement or affiliation.
